Nice calm setting. Gentle butterfly glides into view, they gaze as to say this is just so plesent and beautiful day to relax. Little critter pokes head from its' hole awoken by the grounp who decided to sit upon this giant mushroom. As for a backround, perhaps a gentle hill with additional mushrooms of different sizes and shapes. In the distance trees are sprouting up, birds fluttering around in play.

The shading of her face and "tiara" is gorgeous. Very dark and deep, these darker parts bring out the facial expression great. You should employ that in the rest of the image and work it up a bit more. Seems like you concentrated on that part more than on the "whole" of the image. Nice detail.

I would really like to see you advance as an illustrator. Your work is so unique in comparison to the HUGE number of illustrators in the world. My only complaint would be to see more finished works, because they turn out amazing. You obviously have a great understanding of the line. --- Setting up two charecters with an immense ammount of detail only to have your attention be turned to the delicate butterfly is fun. Great stuff. Refine and continue.

My absolute fav parts of her anatomy are her arms hands and that one foot is great! I like how you place this one, maybe a very small fraction of space can be removed from the top. Cute character as always ;-) !!!

agree with every one else this is just lovely, she is my favorite character of yours to date, she doesnt have really odd proportions which your drawings usually have, and her face is by far the most beautiful. as far as background, i dont really think you need one, but if thats what you want. i def. agree with loneorbit . 8/8 GREAT WORK!!!! <3 melissa
