Description

wow this took a year and a half to do...
100,000,000 lines
to many hours
1000/lines per second while caffienated
only one munster was hurt during this and that was my roomate, who i think is dead, cause I ran her over after making a mad dash for the bathroom after insisting on not breaking my drawing rythmn. True story...
comments welcome, and yes this one is done....

This drawing is for all the little kids out there who have been affected by munsters, revenge is sweet...hehe

To be honest, it looks extremely quick, unrefined and scribbly for "a year and a half".
It has many weak spots that bring the quality way down.
Composition - The characters are a poorly placed, flat and kinda boring. Like an editorial cartoon of polititians instead of an effective illustration, you know?
There seems to be no thought to the use of lights and darks, contrast etc overall - my attention is drawn to the monster's armpit, it's one of only a few areas of solid dark.
Are they supposed to be in a cave? why's it so bright?
I think you should try a few different thumbnail-sized 'tests' of an image (photoshop is good for this, it can lay down light/dark to make a mood much quicker than pencil) before committing any length of time to the image.
100,000,000 lines doesn't make an image good or impressive, it's how those lines are placed :)

RAD! Dude you have style like one of my favorite artists! Check out Alex Pardee @ Eye Suck Ink. www.eyesuckink.com Wicked style! He designed the cover to The Used's latest album! Nice! +10

I think this work is incredible for how it was done..however, it still does have an unfinished feel to it. Nonetheless, its amazing and I freaking love everything about it. +9

I like it, but as aforementioned, it seems to feel unfinished. Best wishes to your roommates recovery. ;)

I like the raw style of this as I think it fits the piece somehow. Great depiction of the characters.

I like this.:)

I think there is too much white space in the middle
The white space worked sp well in your previous image,
because the main subjects were centered in that drawing.
Now the whites are centered and pulls too much attention.
The dragon-beast has really nice features, but would have like the
neck to be less stiff.

Your pencil strokes are good and unique, so is your imaginative capability

Keep it up Aarom + 9

Fun and interesting scene, particullary enjoy the bombs in the little wagon. Pose of munster as it sneers down upon the girl standing ever so innocent, while she hides a bomb just out of sight of the munster. Stalagtight in upper right corner could benefit from additional definition, currently it seems to lack form giving it a slight flatness.

Fififi, for someone who has only just joined and has ZERO artworks posted, I find your "review" a little empty. You said nothing pleasant in any way. As an art major I find it extremely annoying when you rip apart a piece and not say a single thing nice about it.

seeThrou - I love it. I believe you got the turnout you intended, and it looks amazing, in relation to the style of choice. The detail is incredible, especially on the munster. The girl's innocent stature is so cute! +100,000,000 for you. =D

This sketch has a lot of character to it, and I like that. =)

Strange disjointed monster but thats cool as we dont want the same ol' monsters over and over. Nice style again. Only thing that I cant figure out is the shape in the top right.

brilliant :) I love it when you draw scenes in which things are happening, stories are beeing told. You're still getting better and better, it's crazy to observe that

hell ya! i love it, the sketchiness rules, the dynamic empty space gives the composition a sense of "fly on the wall" view...
